Bowl is dated 1972. It is polished black with sienna highlights in the carved bear and around the four turquiose inserts. Dora Tse-Pe (1939-2022) has been recognized as a Master Potter and bestowed the title of "Master of Indian Market". Her works are highly sought after. This work is signed: "Tse-Pe and Dora San Ildefonso 1972" This important work has been in a collection for many years.
